How Can You Help?

The Residence Life Professional Association (RLPA) is a vibrant network of student housing professionals from 30+ academic institutions across Western Canada. We aren’t just in the business of providing housing; we are committed to elevating the standard of living and learning within these spaces, transforming them into holistic homes away from home.

Our mission is to advance and promote excellence in housing services at post-secondary institutions. We achieve this by connecting our members to share best practices and participate in professional development opportunities. We see every residence hall as an opportunity for personal and academic growth, and as a crucible for lifelong memories.

Our vision for the future is one where student housing in Western Canada not only thrives but sets a benchmark for exceptional experiences for both professionals and students. We envision this future to be shaped through collaborative efforts in evaluating and developing best practices, creating meaningful connections among members, and facilitating professional growth through education and training.

Our annual LEAD (Learn. Educate. Act. Dare) Conference is a testament to these principles. It’s a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and inspiration for over a hundred residence student staff and professionals from our member institutions. We rely on the support of our Corporate Partners to facilitate impactful events like LEAD and to showcase products that can enhance residence student experience at our institutions. Supporting the RLPA is an investment in the growth and development of our members, the fostering of dynamic, inclusive student communities, and the advancement of the field of residence life and student housing. Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities

We are here to make your sponsorship of the RLPA and LEAD conference meet your needs. Below you will find some specific examples of how you and your business can help support the growth and development of our members and students. Beyond these suggestions if you have any specific ideas of how you can contribute that would better suit your needs we want to work with to create a custom package.

Bronze Partner| $250

  • Addition into RLPA membership directory
  • Recognition as a Team Level Partner on Website with logo and links as applicable
  • Recognition on RLPA Social Media as a Bronze Level Partner
  • Ability to send out (1) mass Association email to all members

 

Silver Partner| $500

  • Addition into RLPA membership directory
  • Access to detailed RLPA membership directory
  • Partner Spotlight Article on RLPA website & Social Media showcasing company mission and industry connection – No interview
  • Recognition as a Growth Level Partner on Website with logo and links as applicable
  • Recognition on RLPA Social Media as a Growth Level Partner
  • Invitation to Social Opportunities with Association membership (Fall Business, Annual General and LEAD student conference) at no additional costs
  • Ability to send out (3) mass Association emails to all members
  • Waived Registration fees  for one representative to attend one RLPA  PD event in one calendar year (Fall Business Meeting, AGM, LEAD)

 

Gold Partner| $1000

  • Addition into RLPA membership directory
  • Access to detailed RLPA membership directory
  • Partner Spotlight article on RLPA website and Social Media – Interview
  • Recognition as a Premium Level Partner on Website and at PD events  with logo and links as applicable
  • Recognition on RLPA Social Media as a Premium Level Partner
  • Invitation to Social Opportunities with Association membership (Fall Business, Annual General and LEAD student conference) at no additional costs
  • Ability to send out (6) mass association emails to all members
  • Hosting a co-branded virtual workshop/webinar for RLPA members
  • Sponsorship of (1) PD event in the calendar year included. Logo, and a prepared statement will be provided prior to the PD event or keynote.
  • Priority consideration for speaking at PD events, including breakout sessions, meetings, etc.
  • Post Event Impact Report

 

LEAD Partner

  • We will work with you for pricing
  • We understand that not everyone falls into a category! We want to work with you to give you and your company a plan that is specific to your needs. 
  • Some examples may include:
    • Sponsoring social activities at a meeting or LEAD
    • Sponsoring food or promo items
    • Providing support to a keynote
    • Partner Spotlight article on RLPA website and Social Media – Interview
    • Hosting a co-branded virtual workshop/webinar for RLPA members
    • Priority consideration for speaking at PD events, including breakout sessions, meetings, etc.
    • Providing awards, scholarships, or events such as challenges and workshops during the LEAD conference
