Are you passionate about creating vibrant, inclusive communities? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where you can make a real impact on students’ lives? The University of Regina is looking for dedicated three Live-In Residence Life Coordinators to lead and inspire our on-campus residential communities.

Reporting to the Manager, Housing Services, the Residence Life Coordinators play a vital role in enhancing the on-campus student experience by fostering safe, inclusive, and engaging residential communities that support student learning, personal development, and well-being. Each coordinator is responsible for the overall leadership, development, and day-to-day management of a designated residence community at the University of Regina.

This position takes a student-centered approach to community building, communication, educational and social programming, and student conduct. With a strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and student success, the Coordinators collaborate with the Residence Life team and various campus departments to create meaningful environments that promote a sense of belonging and academic engagement.

What You’ll Do:
Developing and implementing programming that supports academic achievement, life skills development, wellness, and community involvement. Each coordinator provides leadership to student staff such as Resident Assistants and Community Assistants, offering supervision, training, and ongoing support. A highly visible and approachable presence in the residence community, each coordinator actively role-models positive behavior and reinforces respectful community standards.
Each coordinator responds to student concerns—including roommate issues, mental health matters, and conduct violations—through restorative and educational approaches. They also enforce University of Regina residence policies and the Student Housing Handbook, contributing to a safe and respectful living environment.
As part of the Residence Life on-call rotation, each coordinator responds to crises and emergencies such as medical situations, mental health issues, and facilities-related incidents. They are also involved in promoting major residence initiatives, including Living-Learning Communities, Housing Awards, and campus-wide engagement events.
Operational responsibilities include assisting with residence move-in and move-out procedures, supporting the management the Residence Life budget in collaboration with the team, and ensuring the timely ordering of promotional and educational materials. Each coordinator also maintains strong connections with university departments to ensure residents receive holistic and coordinated support.
Due to the nature of residence life, the position requires flexibility, including evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call work.
