LEAD is an annual conference for post-secondary student leaders working in residence across Western Canada. Activities include delegate presentations, roundtables, case studies, keynote speakers and more! Connecting with peers from other institutions provides great professional development and even greater friendships.

LEAD Conference dates 2027 – November 5-7 at Gull Lake alberta

 

We are looking for individuals who are interested in contributing their ideas, skills, and energy to help shape a meaningful and engaging experience for our student leaders. Committee members will collaborate on various aspects of the conference: ,

*          Recruit and coordinate the professional panel

*          Recruit and advise a student led social committee

*          Select the swag we give out

*          Develop and judge the case study

*          Coordinate the presentation proposal selection

 

Committee expectations: 

*          Attend regular planning meetings (virtual)

*          Collaborate with a team of colleagues across institutions (BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan)

*          Contribute to specific tasks or subcommittees based on interest

*          Support conference execution on the day(s) of the event

STAY CONNECTED WITH US!

Registration fees cover conference costs, meals, snacks, and accommodation during the L.E.A.D. conference. Institutions are responsible for providing their own transportation and items for the swag swap* We are currently limiting each institution to a registration limit of one professional chaperone and six student delegates to ensure all interested institutions can participate! If we have availability for more delegates by Monday, September 25th know we will notify registered institutions
