LEAD Conference 2024

Learn | Educate | Act | Dare

LEAD is an annual conference for post-secondary student leaders working in residence across Western Canada. Activities include delegate presentations, roundtables, case studies, keynote speakers and more! Connecting with peers from other institutions provides great professional development and even greater friendships.

Attend LEAD to be a better LEADer

  • Learn from peers and experts in the industry.
  • Educate others; share tips and tricks on supporting residents.
  • Act with purpose; implement new ideas back at your campus.
  • Dare to push your growing edge. Step outside your comfort zone. Practice facilitation skills. Rise to the challenge! You won’t regret it.

Fall Business Meeting 2024: November 1–3, 2024 at Gull Lake

The Fall Business Meeting serves as a crucial platform for collaboration and decision-making among members of the Residence Life Professional Association. The meeting aims to review accomplishments, discuss key challenges, and set strategic goals for the upcoming year. It serves as a forum for sharing best practices, discussing policy updates, and outlining new initiatives in areas such as inclusion, wellness, and professional development. During the Fall Business Meeting, there are also opportunities to get involved through the elections process for certain Board positions. Participating in one of our annual Fall Business Meetings is an integral part of experiencing the sense of community the RLPA is known for. The cost per person to register for the Fall Business Meeting is $275. If you are interested in applying to facilitate a presentation, you can apply before October 15, 2024 here.
